Trump Threatens Even Worse in a Horrifying Memo
Hi Friends,
If there is a limit to the dictatorial outrages Trump wants to engage in, he hasn't reached it. Instead, he's announced hideous plans to make things even worse in a "national security memorandum" targeting for legal action individuals and organizations that disagree with him, regardless of whether they've violated any laws.

In his memo, Trump (who has incited violence at his own campaign rallies) claims to oppose political violence, including "riots" in Los Angeles and Portland. Recent protests in Los Angeles were created by Trump's own actions, sending military troops into a U.S. city -- and Trump's beliefs about Portland were created by Fox News airing five-year-old video and convincing Trump it was new.
To address the alleged wave of "political violence," Trump has ordered the investigation and prosecution of any individuals or organizations who might be labeled anti-fascist, regardless of whether any actual crimes have been committed -- targeting those suspected of "anti-Americanism," "anti-capitalism," "anti-Christianity," "hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family," and so forth.
The National Council of Nonprofits says: "This action . . . is a blatant attack on one of the core principles of our democracy, the freedom of speech. This rhetoric and action undermines the lifesaving work of millions of nonprofit staff and volunteers and puts them at risk."
