Los Angeles has found someone to make things better

Los Angeles has been invaded by Trump's troops while a Congressional district in its heart is "represented" by a Democrat named Jimmy Gomez who has broken his campaign promises, taken piles of corporate PAC money, been funded by for-profit prison companies running ICE prisons, and fended off decent challengers thanks to millions of dollars from AIPAC.
If you haven't heard of Jimmy Gomez, that's because he goes along with the wars and the corporate-oligarchic agenda that's the norm in Washington, D.C.
If we can elect a real progressive like Angela Gonzales-Torres, who is challenging Gomez in the Democratic primary, everyone will hear about her.

Angela Gonzales-Torres' platform includes:
- expanding emergency rental assistance and housing vouchers, and supporting community land trusts and rapid rehousing programs;
- a Guaranteed Basic Income pilot for working families, stronger protections for gig workers, expanded leave and childcare support;
- Medicare for All;
- a Green New Deal;
- fully funding early childhood and special education, canceling student debt, and making public college tuition-free;
- a pathway to citizenship, expanded services for mixed-status households, and investments in legal aid and community integration;
- ending the blank checks for war, bombs, and weapons, with that money being re-invested in communities;
- an immediate arms embargo, and a massive influx of humanitarian aid to end the genocide and deliver on the promise of Palestinian freedom and self-determination.
