The organization Win Without War is circulating a joint letter urging Congress to publicly support negotiations to replace New START, the last remaining bilateral nuclear arms treaty between the United States and Russia. As part of Defuse Nuclear War’s Save New START campaign, we’re asking RootsAction supporters who have already taken action on this issue to add their name to the letter.

The treaty will expire after February 4 – in less than three weeks. Now is the time to do everything you can to support limits on the two countries who hold roughly 90% of the world’s nuclear weapons in their arsenals.
