Keep the Heat on ICE

Hi Friends,

Masked ICE thugs in unmarked cars are increasingly creating fear and confusion. U.S. immigration agents have shot their guns at 30 or more people during Trump 2.0 and killed eight of them.1

But the bigger story is less public. ICE is snatching and imprisoning 50,000 people a month — deputizing hundreds of local police departments to help — and shipping over 1,000 people a day out of the United States (often with no explanation or indication of where they are being sent, with sadistic punishment answering any inquiry or protest).2

The majority of those taken in July had no criminal charges or convictions. Many were children. And there have now been over 50 deaths of people imprisoned by ICE during Trump 2.0. Millions of our neighbors live in terror of being next.

Enough is enough. Here's how to take action nationally online right now — even if you've told them before!

Many are not sitting back and taking it

By creating “Sanctuary Zones” that refuse to cooperate with ICE or police, a coalition in Atlanta, Georgia, is building the infrastructure to practice real community safety. This should be a model for many other places.3

Please share this far and wide!
